As we journey down the path of Christian discipleship, our road may become more rugged as the Lord puts His finger on a harmful habit or an attitude. We are then faced with a choice. Will we continue to walk with the Lord, or indulge our own desires? “Obeying God is only easy when a person’s own desires match God’s,” Lifeway Research’s Scott McConnell says, “Until believers have the same mind as Christ, denying their natural desires will be hard.”
