Burning Question:
When were you brave enough to do something different?
Morning Devotional:
I know Daylight Saving Time messes with a lot of people. Me, not so much. I’ve always been able to manage the time change pretty well. Someone else in my life, however, wasn’t having it.
While I spent the past few days being quite productive at home, my puppy was completely out of sorts. Last night, Abbie did something she has never done before. Early in the evening, she got up, trotted down the hall to the bedroom, jumped on the bed and went right to sleep. She was done with the day, even though the clock said otherwise!
It’s a silly example, but it reminds me how easily change can make us feel unsettled. That’s why I am grateful for the truth we find in Hebrews 13:8: “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
Our clocks may change, seasons come and go, and our feelings and body clocks may be all over the place, but God is constant. He is the one steady anchor we can cling to, and He is never “falling back.”
