Morning Devotional:

I have been spending a lot of time as of late with my family, helping my parents through some medical difficulties. My mom is recovering from surgery and my dad has needed assistance with stuff around the house so this diligent daughter has been on the case. I had a little time this past weekend to finally watch some television, a game show that I watched when I was little and have come to dislike – Wheel of Fortune. It’s not a bad game – for me, it’s just so obvious!  I hate it when I get the answer and the contestants don’t!  What do you do when you know the answer to a problem, or a question, and you feel you have to communicate it to someone else?  I might not be able to tell the game show contestant through the TV set the answer to a puzzle, but when it comes to the answer to all of our troubles here on this earth, I can. The answer to every question, every fear, every trial we face is Jesus Christ.

He does not change, and He will do everything the Word says He will do. John 14: 13-14 says, “I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” If you’re looking for an answer to life’s problems, it’s the Lord. Jesus is always the answer.
