What Day Is It?

Burning Question:

Have you ever felt totally misled by an ad?

Morning Devotional:

I was outside mid-morning yesterday when I saw them in the sky. Conditions were just right to produce sun dogs. If you don’t know what a sun dog is, they are these brilliant, rainbow-like patches of light that appear on either side of the sun when it’s low in the sky. They actually get their name because they “follow” the sun across the horizon, just like a loyal dog follows its master.

They were beautiful, and when I read about sun dogs later in the day, I loved the spiritual lesson they gave me. The same God who created light at the beginning of time has made His light to shine within our hearts. That light grows the more we get to know Him and spend time in His presence – the more we follow after Him.

I pray every day that I would be a reflection of the Lord for others to see. The more I follow after the Lord, the easier it is for people to see His light through me.
