Burning Question:
What is your secret superpower?
Morning Devotional:
I experienced a bizarre moment on my way home yesterday.
I was driving down Main Street when a wild turkey suddenly decided to take a stroll right in front of my car. I slammed on the brakes, heart pounding, but the turkey? Completely unfazed. He actually stopped, looked me in the eye, and gave a slow nod before finishing his walk. It was a weird reminder that the unexpected can happen to us in a split second.
We often react with panic when life throws us a curveball, when God wants us to have the confidence of that turkey on the road. Not because we are in control, but because He is. Proverbs 3:25-26 tells that we are not to have fear of sudden disaster because the Lord will be at our side. The unexpected “turkeys” of life don’t catch God off guard. He is our constant protector, even when we have to hit the brakes.
