What Day Is It?

Burning Question:

How do you change your mindset for a job you dislike?

Morning Devotional:

Last night my dog and I stepped out the front door of my home, only to hear a sound I haven’t heard in months – the tell-tale sound of water about to shoot out of my underground sprinkler system. It’s on a timer system set by my HOA so I didn’t know it was going to start on until Abbie and I were sufficiently sprayed with water. It was sort of refreshing, but also startling. Not exactly a welcome moment.

Life changes quickly and we get hit with a dose of reality like cold, wet water on our faces. When that happens, we can have supernatural peace by focusing on the Lord and not our changing circumstances.

Isaiah 26:3 reminds us that “God will keep us in perfect peace if our minds are stayed on Him.” When life’s sprinkler system goes off, know who it is you are to trust. If we keep our focus on Him, He will protect us.
