Burning Question:
It’s National App Day! What is a surprising app you use all the time?
Morning Devotional:
When I got home from work yesterday afternoon, I noticed a few of my neighbors were trying to clear their driveways of snow. Since I own a snowblower, I thought it was the perfect time to get it out and give my neighbors a hand.
My neighbor across the street, as I worked on her driveway, continued to shovel snow as I worked my snowblower. I turned away from her for just a moment and before I knew it, she was on the ground. She hit her head but said she felt fine so I helped her back into her house. A text message I received a few hours later informed me she needed to go to the ER.
Her fall reminded me of how quickly life can take an unexpected turn. We can feel like we have everything under control, only to suddenly lose our footing. When those unexpected moments hit, itIs good to know we have an anchor and a firm foundation in God. We can’t anticipate every patch of ice that will come before us, but we can choose to trust the One who holds us steady in the slippery spots.
