What Day Is It?

Burning Question:

What is your favorite Easter food?

Morning Devotional:

I spent my evening watching coverage of the Artemis II launch to the moon and I was mesmerized. During the flight, there was a camera angle from the rocket looking back at Earth, and it looked like the top of this big, blue marble suspended in the darkness. It was a breathtaking, “God’s-eye” view of the planet.

It reminded me of John 3:16 and how it says, “For God so loved the world that He sent His son.” God didn’t love just certain parts or sections of the world. He loved the whole world. He saw the entire planet in its beauty and its depravity and decided we were worth saving. He sent Jesus on the ultimate mission to die on a cross to save us from sin and death.

The next time you see the moon, remember this: Jesus is the Savior for the whole world. He came to make sure that “whosoever believes in Him” would have eternal life. That “whosoever” includes you.
