What is something your parents did that made you feel deeply loved, and how are you passing that on?
Morning Devotional:
So I have been having a lot of fun with my new puppy, Abbie. She is so entertaining and I love having her around. She has also been a challenge, too. With her being in that curious puppy stage, she is hard to contain and her training has been admittedly tough.
I have been waiting to see if she would ever calm down into the lap dog I was finally looking for and this weekend she finally did it. She jumped up onto the couch, snuggled up next to me and closed her eyes to settle in for a little nap. I would give her a pat on the head and that is where Miss Abbie stayed – right at her master’s side where she was safe and secure. It made my day.
I have always said that you can learn a lot from a dog. I’ve learWe have every invitation to stay close to our Master and we have no reason not to take Him up on the opportunity. When the Lord says, “Come to Me and I will give you rest,” don’t miss the invitation. Get up on His lap and stay there. You are always welcome.
