What Day Is It? Part 1.

What Day is it Part 2.

Burning Question:

What is your favorite way to keep Christ at the center of Christmas?

Morning Devotional:

This past weekend, my puppy, Abbie, turned one! Since she selected her birthday gift by chewing the buckle off her collar, a trip to the pet store was in order.

She was so excited about being at the store that she yipped, barked, and jumped around, announcing her presence to everyone. The staff fell in love with her again and took her picture for their Facebook and Instagram pages.!

The birth of Jesus was not only a surprise to certain shepherds in the fields, but it was one that filled the heavens with song! Luke describes it by saying, “Suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, ‘Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!'”

Like Abbie gaining all the attention at the pet store, the angels made sure the shepherds knew this was no ordinary night. It was the birth of the Savior, bringing glory to God and peace to us. This Christmas, remember the song the angels sang, and let the salvation story fill your heart with joy.
