Burning Question:
What is something you have done that you are pretty sure most people haven’t?
Morning Devotional:
No Room in the Parking Garage
When my son Malachi graduated last week, our whole family went to celebrate—including my dad. That meant we were all traveling together in our big van, affectionately named “MAC.”
We got there early, so I honestly did not expect parking to be an issue. But as we drove into the parking garage, we just kept going up… and up… and up… and there were no spots.
By the time we reached the top level, there were still no spots, and barely enough room to turn around. And did I mention we were in a 15-passenger van?
At that point, things got interesting. My dad ended up getting out of the van and directing me. “Cut left. Now straighten. Now back up.” It was a full team effort in a very tight space. Somehow, we made it work and eventually got everything turned around and headed the right direction.
It made me think about how often life feels like that parking garage. You think there is going to be space, direction, and room to move forward, and then suddenly everything feels tight, crowded, and confusing.
But even in those moments, you are not alone trying to figure it out. God provides guidance, wisdom, and even people around you to help you navigate what feels impossible.
Proverbs 3:6 says, “In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
Sometimes the path is not wide. Sometimes it feels like there is no room to turn around. But God is still faithful to guide you through it, one direction at a time.
So if you feel stuck in a tight place today, remember this. God is not just watching from a distance. He is directing the path, even when it feels like there is no room to move.
