Morning Devotional:

Preparing for a trip can be stressful, especially when it comes to packing. What should we take along? Tools for a mission trip? Relaxation essentials? Jesus once sent out 72 followers, instructing them to pack lightly. Their mission was to announce His coming and the nearness of God’s kingdom.

Today, we’re still called to be part of that mission. Whether as missionaries or in our daily roles as parents, doctors, teachers, or workers, we must find our purpose in God’s harvest field.

As we journey through life, let’s assess our possessions. Do we need all these things? Could we simplify and give back? Maybe hold a garage sale for charity? Can we use our resources to help others? A ride for the homebound, time for a neighbor, or support for those in need?

God has blessed us abundantly. Let’s use those blessings to honor Him and bless others.
