Burning Question:
Tell me about the worst haircut you’ve had…
Morning Devotional:
From Here to There.
Isaiah 48:17 says: This is what the Lord says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.
So if I wanted to head down to Kentucky, how do you supposed I would get there? Well I would just pull up the GPS app on my phone and off we go! But if I didn’t have a guide, I would get lost for sure. I mean, I’m not going to know the route that I’ve never ventured before.
And that’s pretty much what you and I navigate each new day: A route we haven’t experienced or seen before. To get from here to there, we need a good guide – we need God!
You can seek His guidance in a lot of different ways: by talking to Him, spending time in His word, and even by surrounding yourself with fellow believers. Take it from me, it isn’t worth looking into other means. Remember that “the Lord your God is who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.”
I encourage you, don’t rush through this day without seeking His guidance. He’ll get you from here to there.
