On Maundy Thursday, April 17th at 8:00 pm, we will be airing an original Easter program entitled “The Final Words of Christ.” This program, created by the Kinship Radio staff, will feature an hour of devotional thoughts and songs highlighting each of the seven statements Jesus made from the cross.
On Good Friday, April 18th, we will air the Wings of Worship special, “Wings of Worship – A Good Friday.” In this program, Beth Crosby will explore the story surrounding Christ’s death and resurrection, using music and reflections to focus on key moments in the accounts of Jesus’ crucifixion.
On Saturday, April 19th at 3:00 pm, we will be airing the special, “Heaven How I Got Here” from the ministry of Open the Bible. This program features actor Stephen Baldwin telling the story of Christ’s death and resurrection through the eyes of the thief on the cross. We will also be airing this program in Spanish on our Spanish-speaking stations.
Easter Sunday, April 20th will feature two specials: The first is the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association special, “What Easter Means for You.” This program will air at 1:00 pm and features two Easter messages from Reverend Graham – “The Real Meaning of the Cross” and “Words From the Risen Christ.” At 4:00 pm, we will offer a repeat airing of the Kinship Radio original program, “The Final Words of Christ.”
We will be airing a brand-new Easter series “Alegria via Crucis,” from Palm Sunday through Easter Sunday on our Spanish stations at 8:30 am, 12:00 pm and 5:30 pm.
