SPIRIT LAKE – A free Memory Café will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Spirit Lake Tuesday, September 16th starting at 10:00 AM. Jean Carney, a retired Department of Homeland Security Canine Trainer and Handler will be talking about her experiences. If you are a caregiver for someone with dementia, the Lakes Area Dementia and Caregiver Café is designed for you. It is a place and time for you and your loved one to socialize in a comfortable location and meet others in a similar situation. A program, social time and refreshments are included in this event.
