BELMOND – Norwegian heritage and culture will be celebrated at the community room of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Belmond on Friday, May 17th, at 2:00 PM. Coffee and kringla will be served. Hear about an illustrated travelogue about a trip to Norway above the Arctic Circle and interactions with the native Sami people. The date is special as May 17th is Norway’s national holiday, Syttende Mai. In the Norwegian language, Syttende Mai means the Seventeenth of May.
