Procrastination is something we all struggle with. We delay important tasks, waiting for the “right time” or perfect conditions. But in Ecclesiastes 11:4, we are reminded of this: “Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap.”
This verse teaches us that waiting for ideal circumstances can keep us from acting at all. Just as a farmer who waits for perfect weather might never plant, we, too, may miss out on opportunities or “divine appointments” if we keep waiting for everything to be just right. God doesn’t call us to act only when we feel ready. He calls us to move forward in faith, trusting that He will provide the results in His timing.
So, ask yourself, “What am I waiting for?”
Let’s overcome procrastination by trusting God, exercising our faith, and taking action!
