The Burning Question:
It’s National Common Courtesy Day. What common courtesy do you think is lacking?
Morning Devotional:
I have had a lot of long workdays over the past week which has meant my dog was home alone a lot. The other night I was in the checkout line at the gas station and while I was waiting, my eyes fell upon something I knew would make up for my absence and help my little dog feel loved and appreciated.
I bought my dog a rotisserie chicken.
It wasn’t on sale, either. I paid full price for the juicy, slow roasted bird which, by the way, was bigger than my dog. When I got home and presented it to her, it only took one sniff for her to know something amazing was coming her way. Soon her plate was loaded with chicken and everything in the world was just fine. Momma was home, life was good, and her belly was full.
I was feeling pretty good, too – much like the way I believe our Father feels when He supplies us with what we need, as well as the things we desire. He is the Father who gives good gifts to His children, right? I’m sure He enjoys giving us His very best.
