What Day Is It?

Burning Question:

What was the most fun you had volunteering?

Morning Devotional:

I was resting yesterday afternoon when I heard my dog go berserk outside.

When I went out to investigate, I discovered that a stray dog had wandered into the yard and was trying to approach my Abbie.

I could see the dog had a collar, but I couldn’t get him to calm down enough to try and catch him. I was about to call the city when I saw someone come around the corner. Sure enough, it was “Coco’s” owner – a friend of mine’s mother who had been frantically searching for their runaway pet.

I was very grateful that Coco made his way home, and the moment made me even more grateful for the One who made sure I could come home, too. Jesus said in Luke 19, “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” We aren’t just random strays to God. We are His priority and His passion, so know that you are never too lost to be found by a Savior whose specialty is to bring the wanderer home.
