Morning Devotional:
I am horrible at card games.
My family was playing a game I had not played since I was in college, so I was learning it all over again. When we had finished a hand I had lost, the person trying to help me with the game gave me a piece of advice.
“You should have played the king. If you had shown them your king, you would have won.”
We are often dealt some pretty rough cards in life. We often deal ourselves those bad cards because of our sin. But because of Jesus and what He did for us, we can have victory. Our King made His move once and for all at the cross and the empty tomb. When we believe and trust in Him as Savior and Lord, we have the win.
