In my line of work, I pay very close attention to sounds, and I heard my share of favorites this past week.
There was the mix of playful growls and the thunder of zoomies as my puppy played with my Mom and Dad’s dog in sheer delight for three days straight.
I heard water dripping from my roof the other day. Gotta love the sound of 40 degree days during a Minnesota winter!
The best sound of all, though, was the cracking of the spine of a brand new Bible in the hands of a brand new Christian as they read scripture out loud for the very first time.
If you want to make some noise in this world, lead someone to Jesus and introduce them to God’s Word. That’s music to God’s ears.
