Burning Question:
Which winter Olympic sport do you think you could actually do?
Morning Devotional:
I recently drove down a road I have known for decades, only to get turned around because of new construction. One new roundabout got me turned around and unceremoniously detoured for about ten minutes as I attempted to find my way again.
Detours are a method God often uses to refine us. He uses the change of scenery to teach us to rely on Him instead of our own devices to get us where we need to be. Those moments train us to look to Jesus. In fact, Hebrews 12:2 tells us to “fix our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.” He is the way when the road before us is hard to see so when we start to veer off course, we need to look to Him all the more.
