It’s National Homemade Soup Day! What soup reminds you of home?
Morning Devotional:
I opened my laptop here at work yesterday morning and found an interesting wallpaper photo. It was a picture of two birds that looked like seagulls, but with huge feet that looked like they had been dunked in bright blue paint. The name of the bird is translated from the Spanish word “foolish,” which made sense because the size and coloring of the feet made the birds look kind of silly.
My feet don’t look all that great, but there is a verse in the Word that describes the best of feet – the feet of those who are willing to share Christ. Romans 10:15 says, “How can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written; ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!’ If you’re walking your walk for the cause of Christ, your feet may have a callous or two, but Kingdom work always looks good on you.
