My phone started playing a game of hide‑and-seek with me yesterday. Spoiler alert: the phone won.
A text I know was sent to me from our boss never got to me. I somehow missed an email from a friend. I even missed a change to an appointment time for my dog. I had this fleeting thought: If I can miss that much in a couple of hours, how much more could God miss from me?
The answer to that is simple: nothing. God doesn’t overlook my prayers or forget to respond to them. He doesn’t lose track of me or my needs. His attention never wavers and His presence is constant.
When the lines of communication feel scattered, we never have to wonder if God is there. He is, and He got the message.
