Burning Question:
What is one of the most foolish disagreements or discussions you have ever been a part of?
Morning Devotional:
The lost has been found!
The new end table I have been waiting for was finally delivered yesterday. The box looked surprisingly in good shape and the contents appeared unharmed, but there was one small problem. My table wasn’t a table yet. There was some assembly required.
I spent a good chunk of my evening examining the parts, reading the instructions on how to match part A to part B and wondering how I was to put them together with the shrink-wrapped screws and tiny little allen wrench that came with it. Things weren’t fitting together the way they should and I finally had to give up for the night, leaving the mess on my bedroom floor to tackle another day.
I am so glad that our Father God does not walk away from us when we feel like a disassembled mess. In Psalm 147:3, we are reminded that God heals the brokenhearted and binds up our wounds. Unlike me with that table, God is faithful to complete the work He started. We are never a project left unfinished in His hands.
