Students across the country—and around the world—will gather around their school flagpoles for See You at the Pole, a student-led day of prayer. This year’s theme is “Come to Me,” based on Matthew 11:28:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
See You at the Pole is an opportunity for students to come together before school to pray for their friends, families, teachers, schools, communities, and nation. It began in 1990 with just ten students praying at their school and has grown into a global day of student prayer. See You At The Pole™
Come to Jesus. Come Together. Pray.
School can bring pressure, uncertainty, challenges, and burdens. The message of this year’s theme is a powerful reminder that students don’t have to carry those burdens alone. Jesus invites us to come to Him.
Students: Make plans to meet at your school flagpole on September 23 and invite your friends to join you.
Parents, grandparents, churches and youth leaders: Encourage the students in your life to participate and pray for them as they prepare for this special morning.
Let’s come together and pray—and trust God to work in our schools and communities.
