God Is Good. Yesterday I asked you to pray for issues with school curriculum that was to be approved by the Bloomington school board. God Answered!! I was able to table 3 questionable curriculum choices from being voted on at last nights School Board Meeting.
I will have discussions with curriculum leaders in the district this week or next. This is a victory with the need for PRAYER for continued favor among district leadership and for the leaders and the Board to discern the inappropriateness of the curriculum in question.
Psalm 28 is such an encouragement of how God Hears and answers our prayers! He is for us!

Good Morning, Yesterday I asked everyone to pray for a family in need of a house. I got a call this morning from my daughter at 7:38 rejoicing, the family got a house last evening. They put an offer, the asking price, in on a house and their offer was accepted. God’s hand was at working and in God’s time. Praise be God. Thank you for all your prayers.
Please pray with St. Joseph to find housing for a young Navy family with five children who has been living out a hotel room for three months because there is no housing available. They are house hunting and exhausted.

Please pray to find housing for a young Navy family with five children who has been living out a hotel room for three months because there is no housing available. They are house hunting and exhausted.
For a young mom with three children and trying to work, raising her children and dealing with financial problems, and mental health.
For a member of our parish who is hurting from words said by someone in authority.

I am a School Board Member. As I was reviewing materials for approval for our School Board meeting tonight, I found two controversial biased online curriculum that the District wants to purchase for the 2021-2022 school year. The curriculum is Brain Pop and and Newsela. Reviews by parents are very concerning. I have asked that the two software curriculum orders be stopped in light of the bias against conservative values and Christian beliefs. Pray for favor and for such materials to be thwarted from being used in our schools. I am a lone voice on our Board. Pray for the eyes of my School Board Members to be opened and their consciences to be convicted. God is our victory and he can stop this. Pray for those in the curriculum department to stop selecting these types of curriculum. Pray for parents to rise up and let the District know their opposition to these materials.
Thank you for lifting me up up and for spiritual protection. We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against powers of darkness in the heavenly realms. Thanks be to God who always leads us triumphant procession...

Currently, we, as union members, are on a labor strike/lockout with our company regarding safe working conditions. As such, I would ask for prayer that we would reach a safe, fair, equitable, and God-honoring labor agreement (contract) that empowers people and affirms human life. I started a new business about six months ago. There have been a lot of expenses and very little money coming in yet. There is interest for the service and the potential for growth is there. Asking for prayers that the business will grow a little faster so that expenses may be paid. Thank you for your prayers. We listen to KYLY daily! Love it so much! Keeps us grounded in the Lord.
