Please pray for the fever to go down and the blood counts to go up so that our son Matt who is undergoing chemo treatments can be released from the hospital and continue treatment on Monday and that the Holy Spirit will calm his fear and guide him, our Heavenly Father's love assure him, and that Jesus holds him close. My husband was in the hospital for a few days with a bad infection from a dog bite. He is still on antibiotics and it seems to be healing.
My sister who has had COVID for 2 weeks is slowly getting better but is still pretty weak. Thank you for your prayers.

I am going through a painful episode of shingles. Please pray it won't spread anymore and that I will be on the mend shortly. I have a painful hip, so with the both of these problems, it's a test of endurance. I am trusting in the Lord's mercy and care; but treasure the thought that there are those praying along side of me as well. Thank you dear friends.

On Wednesday, I go in for a consultation with a cardiologist after an EKG revealed a minor irregularity in the heart rhythm post COVID. Erring on the cautious side, and not wanting to jump to conclusions, it is a lot for someone under 40 to think about after hearing and praying, “teach me to number my days.” Why do I ask for such things :-p? I am praying for peace asking that it would be something small and nothing to worry about, but also asking for my inner being to be prepared to handle the worst if the worst is what God desires to sustain me through because He cares. He has already physically saved me in several miraculous happenings known and unknown, so it would be willfully evil for me to doubt His goodness. So, I am waiting and considering my frailty deeper appreciating my need for God who is strong and gentle. Thank Him and praise Him for being merciful to me!

My local Church congregation is undergoing some changes, and I know we are asking for unity in the Lord and thriving for our pastors, lay leaders and Church staff. Might God protect us against pride and have us be open to changes orchestrated by God who is loving and sovereign. Might we be a family and nothing less. Prevent wolves from entering, and keep our focus on goodness and righteousness purchased at great cost by Jesus on the cross. Might we walk worthily of the calling.
