Please pray for my grandma who is in the ER now. She had a stroke and doctors are working to stop it. Pray that the clots will break up and no more damage is done. Praying God will bring restoration to what has been affected by the stroke. Please pray for God's peace for her and our family in this scary time, and also wisdom for the doctors that are helping. Thank you!

Many thanks to each of you who has prayed for Lili, the young woman in Guatemala whom we support!
God is at work. She was able to find a different job with a bit fewer hours (one hour commute each way and 60-70 hours/week, instead of double that commute and 76 hours/week). She will earn very little (once she does her no pay month of "training"), but it's something, so she will be able to help a bit with expenses and she can be home by 8 p.m. with her daughter.
So - praise for that!
This week one man was killed and two others released from prison from that gang which had killed her brother in December 2003. They live nearby and it has raised many emotions for her.
Please pray for God's comfort, wisdom, guidance, and protection. Thank you.

Janet 's daughter Sonja received hopeful news after a scan. It appears the chemo is working. They have meeting with 2 different surgeons with 2 different ideas so they will need to make a choice. We pray God will be near to them as they continue this journey through cancer.

Please pray for Sharon as she has a pulmonary test this Friday. There are several issues going on so we pray that medical professionals will see what needs to happen and a good plan will be put into place.

Jeff requests prayer for his cousin Amy who had open heart surgery over a month ago and now is back in the hospital seriously ill. May God preserve her life.

Continued prayer for Jessica as she is home with her sweet little family (ages 6,8,10,12). She sleeps most of the day. Pain meds are managing most of the pain. Funds are being raised so Kyle will be able to work less and be with her in these coming weeks. Generous people have dropped off food and provided childcare. They feel very loved.
