MANKATO – Pumpkin Smash Event
November 1 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
MANKATO – The Pumpkin Smash Event takes place November 1st, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Sibley Park in Mankato near the sliding hill. Bring your old pumpkin and jack-o-lanterns to be turned into compost instead of sending them to the landfill. Please bring only natural pumpkins with no wax, glitter, candles, glow sticks or lights. Halloween costumes are welcome. There will be a target, a lift for smashing pumpkins and a plank to roll pumpkins down Sibley hill. This event is sponsored by the City of Mankato community grant and Mankato Area Zero Waste.
