There\u2019s a First Time for Everything<\/strong><\/p>\n

My daughter Glory recently got her driver\u2019s license and her first car. Then we realized something.<\/span><\/p>\n

She had never pumped gas by herself before.<\/span><\/p>\n

So I volunteered to go with her, and it was funny to watch how many little things we adults just take for granted. Which side is the gas tank on? How do you use the card reader? What button do you push? How does the pump actually work?<\/span><\/p>\n

For her, it was all brand new.<\/span><\/p>\n

For me, it was a reminder that nobody starts out knowing everything. Every skill, every responsibility, every area of growth begins with a first time.<\/span><\/p>\n

And honestly, the Christian life can feel that way too. Sometimes God calls us into something new, and we feel awkward, uncertain, or unprepared. We worry because we do not already know how to handle it perfectly.<\/span><\/p>\n

But growth usually happens one small step at a time.<\/span><\/p>\n

Philippians 1:6 says, <\/span>\u201cHe who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

God does not expect instant perfection. He teaches us as we go. He guides us through the \u201cfirst times.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

So if you are facing something new today, do not be discouraged because you feel inexperienced. Everyone starts somewhere.<\/span><\/p>\n

Take the next step. Learn as you go. Trust God with the process.<\/span><\/p>\n

Because one day, the things that feel unfamiliar now may become the very things you help someone else learn how to do.<\/span><\/p>\n
