I was on vacation last week but it didn\u2019t feel like it because I spent most of it sick as a dog. However, my dog Abbie had the best time ever, because she got to spend time with her best friend – my parents\u2019 dog, Molly. They played non-stop, chasing each other around the house and wrestling each other to the ground.\u00a0 It was fun to watch but now that my vacation is over, Abbie is the one who is constantly in bed. I have never seen her sleep so much.<\/span><\/p>\n

Finding true rest can be a challenge for me at times, but it\u2019s not because I don\u2019t have an invitation to do so. <\/span>In Matthew chapter 11, Jesus says, \u201c<\/span>Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.\u201d The kind of rest He offers isn\u2019t just a break or a good night\u2019s sleep. He offers complete refreshment and restoration, so don\u2019t miss the opportunity to get away with the Lord and rest up.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
