She Asked for Help<\/b><\/p>\n

My daughter Kalvary is involved with Campus Crusade at her college, and I\u2019ve been really proud of her. She keeps getting asked to take on leadership roles, which says a lot about her character.<\/span><\/p>\n

Recently, she was asked to give a talk on Jonah. She worked hard on it. Then she did something I really appreciated. She asked for help.<\/span><\/p>\n

She had almost all of us in the family read through her talk, offer suggestions, and give feedback. She listened, made adjustments, and kept working at it. And from what I hear, she did a great job.<\/span><\/p>\n

I love that she didn\u2019t try to do it all on her own.<\/span><\/p>\n

Because sometimes we think strength means figuring everything out by ourselves. But in God\u2019s design, wisdom often comes through others.<\/span><\/p>\n

Proverbs 11:14<\/b> says, <\/span>\u201cWhere there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Seeking help is not weakness. It is wisdom. God places people in our lives to guide us, encourage us, and sharpen us.<\/span><\/p>\n

So if you are facing something today, do not go it alone. Ask for input. Invite counsel. Let others speak into your life.<\/span><\/p>\n

Because sometimes the strongest thing you can do is simply say, \u201cCan you help me with this?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
