Signs Are Important<\/b><\/p>\n

On my way to work lately, construction has been added on top of construction. One of my main routes now has lane closures, which is fine. I get it. Roads need fixing.<\/span><\/p>\n

What\u2019s frustrating is the signage.<\/span><\/p>\n

It feels like the instructions for where you\u2019re supposed to go show up <\/span>after<\/span><\/i> you needed them. Three different times now, I\u2019ve had to make a last-second turn, drift out of my lane, or awkwardly correct course just to get back where I was supposed to be.<\/span><\/p>\n

All I really needed\u2026 were better signs.<\/span><\/p>\n

It made me think about how important clear direction is in life. When we don\u2019t have it, we drift. We guess. We make sudden corrections. Sometimes we end up somewhere we never meant to go.<\/span><\/p>\n

God hasn\u2019t left us without guidance.<\/span><\/p>\n

Psalm 119 105<\/b> says, <\/span>\u201cYour word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Notice it doesn\u2019t say a floodlight for the next five miles. It\u2019s a lamp for your <\/span>feet.<\/span><\/i> Just enough light for the next step.<\/span><\/p>\n

When we ignore God\u2019s Word, we shouldn\u2019t be surprised if we feel confused about which lane we\u2019re supposed to be in. But when we stay close to it, reading it, listening to it, obeying it ; He guides us. Step by step.<\/span><\/p>\n

If life feels frustrating right now, maybe the answer isn\u2019t a bigger sign. Maybe it\u2019s slowing down long enough to look at the one He\u2019s already given you.<\/span><\/p>\n

Because God is faithful to direct the traffic of your life, if you\u2019re willing to follow His signs.<\/span><\/p>\n
