I was so exhausted that I ended up crashing on my couch yesterday afternoon and sleeping for four hours straight. When I finally woke up, I realized how much my body had been screaming for that reset. I also realized I needed the rest emotionally and spiritually, too &#8211; big time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I am so prone to try and power through stress and worry on my own strength until I get to the point when I am depleted. That\u2019s when I know I have forgotten the invitation Jesus gives us in Matthew 11:28: \u201cCome to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That nap was a physical necessity yesterday, but sitting at the feet of Jesus is a spiritual one we need to take in daily.
