She thought we were venturing out again.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are other words that will perk Abbie\u2019s ears such as \u201ctreat,\u201d \u201cchicken, \u201ctoy,\u201d and one I think is the best of all, \u201cCandy.\u201d That\u2019s the name of my neighbor who watches Abbie at times during the day and <em>loves<\/em> to take her for walks. Abbie loves Candy like crazy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">My dog finds so much joy in just the mention of her favorite things. Where do we find our joy?\u00a0 I think Psalm 16:11 gives us some clues:\u00a0 \u201c<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.\u201d If you need some joy today, think of words such as forgiveness, grace, mercy, love, or eternity. But definitely think of Jesus.
