You might have even grabbed batteries for that flashlight that hasn\u2019t worked since New Year\u2019s Day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At least you were ready for the weather. But what do you do when threatened by a spiritual storm?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unlike a blizzard, the trials of life rarely come with a warning. They hit in an instant, and without proper preparation, they can knock you down. Thankfully, the Lord shows us how to be ready for any season of life. In Matthew 7, Jesus says:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cEveryone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
