The biblical town is often representative of a season of desperation and for me, it was about 5:00 yesterday afternoon.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I was sitting in my car, overwhelmed by what was going on around me, praying the only prayer I could: \u201cLord, what do you want me to do about this?\u201d It turns out that was the right prayer, one that David himself prayed when everything was falling apart around him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In 1 Samuel chapter 30, David returns home to Ziklag to find his home destroyed, his family taken captive, and his leadership questioned. At that moment, David does two things. David \u201cstrengthened himself in the Lord,\u201d and asked God what to do next. Instead of panicking or acting out of emotion, David sought God, and that one question changed everything. He<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> received clarity, confirmation and courage, and all that had been taken from him was restored.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When you\u2019re in your own Ziklag, you have access to strategy, and it starts by turning your face toward God and praying, \u201cLord, what do You want me to do?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; Beth<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Bible Quiz<\/span>:<\/p>\n<p>Question:\u00a0 According to Matthew, an earthquake occurred when Jesus died on the cross.
