So I was out of town for an entire week last week, which meant I didn\u2019t pick up my mail. Since I don\u2019t go to my post office box every day, I had close to two weeks\u2019 worth of mail to go through yesterday afternoon. Was it all worth keeping? No.<\/span><\/p>\n

There was a ton of junk mail to sort through – everything from credit card offers to mail order catalogs to some company telling me my home warranty service was about to expire. (I\u2019ve never had one.) I was just about to throw the whole stack of mail out when I saw one small envelope stuck between two ads – a card from my parents wishing me a happy Valentine\u2019s Day. I had almost missed my mom and dad\u2019s words of love to me.<\/span><\/p>\n

There is one piece of mail that I love to receive and that is God\u2019s Word to us because it is truth! Paul says in 2 Timothy that \u201call scripture is God-breathed.\u201d Through the scriptures, we are reminded of His love and grace. His words guide us, lead us, and give us hope. That\u2019s a message I love to receive!<\/span><\/p>\n
