When I picked her up from the kennel after my vacation last week, she jumped right up into my arms, and she hasn\u2019t let me out of her sight since. If I move an inch, she is right there. I didn\u2019t know she could be so clingy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But Abbie knew I was home safe, and I know she has been clinging to me out of love and relief. It\u2019s the same way I feel when I turn to the Lord after being distracted or distant from Him.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are encouraged to do as it says in Joshua 23:8, to \u201c<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">cling to the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lord<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> your God, as you have done to this day.\u201d It\u2019s for good reason, because that\u2019s where we find strength, comfort, and the assurance of His presence.
