With seven kids, you learn the difference between a serious injury and a big reaction. It didn\u2019t look like much, so we told her, \u201cLet\u2019s see how it feels in a few hours,\u201d and she went back to play.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That was over a week ago. She\u2019s completely fine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It made me think about how easy it is to overlook things that don\u2019t seem urgent. Not just with bumps and bruises\u2014but with our hearts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Proverbs 4:23<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> says, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cAbove all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sometimes the things that don\u2019t look serious are the very things we shouldn\u2019t ignore. A little bitterness. A little pride. A little worry.
