There are days when I show up, I do my best, and it seems like no one really notices. Or cares.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I don\u2019t think I\u2019m alone in that feeling, either. I was in a pretty low moment the other day when the Lord reminded me of someone who understood the feeling perfectly.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We read of Hagar\u2019s story in the book of Genesis. Hagar\u2019s life changed without her choosing. When she conceived a child, she became the target of Sarah\u2019s hatred and resentment. Hagar was forced to run from the situation and in her lowest moment in the wilderness, she was met by the angel of the Lord \u2014 the first recorded appearance of the angel of the Lord in the Bible. Hagar would also be privileged to give God a name, too: the name El Roi, which means \u201cthe God who sees me.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When we feel unseen, we can know we are not hidden to the Lord at all.
