What was your burning desire to do when you were young, and what are you doing now?<\/p>\n

Morning Devotional:<\/u><\/p>\n

Last night, my dog and I were enjoying a perfectly quiet evening until we heard an odd thud come from another part of the house. We both froze. Abbie\u2019s ears peaked, so did mine, and we both began a room-by-room investigation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We never found the source of the noise, but I found it interesting how a single sound commanded our entire focus. It made me think of the sheer authority of God\u2019s voice. Psalm 29:3\u20135 says:<\/span><\/p>\n

“The voice of the Lord is over the waters; the God of glory thunders… The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is majestic. The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars.”<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Our “mysterious” sound last night ended up being nothing, but God\u2019s voice is everything. It spoke creation into being, it has the power to break through the strongest of strongholds, it speaks life into us. Keep your ears open for the amazing, powerful, beautiful voice of the Lord today. He is speaking, especially to you and me.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
