But things are getting away from me and the theme has turned from peaceful to frantic. I\u2019m scrambling to get shopping finished, travel plans set, all of the things done that need to be done.\u00a0 My \u201cperfect\u201d Christmas is not going to be the stress-free, idyllic holiday I hoped for.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Last night, though, I realized that the very first Christmas was a series of disruptions, travel delays, and improvised plans. Jesus didn&#8217;t come because we had everything figured out; He came because we didn&#8217;t. If He could find a home in a messy stable, He can certainly find a home in my chaotic, unfinished life.
