Hard to believe we\u2019re down to just two\u2014Zebedee and Mercy\u2014still in it. Our neighbor girl goes too. Mercy invited her last year, and she hasn\u2019t missed since.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We help her with her verses during the week, and she works hard. Last week she was supposed to read the story of Elijah and the prophets of Baal. My wife noticed she was struggling and suggested I read it to her.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It didn\u2019t take long to realize she had never heard the story before. And suddenly it came alive\u2014not just for her, but for all of us. Seeing it through fresh eyes made me slow down, tell it well, and appreciate again just how powerful God\u2019s Word really is.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It reminded me of <\/span><b>Romans 10:17<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cSo then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sometimes sharing Christ is as simple as helping someone hear a story for the very first time.
