Morning Devotional:<\/u><\/p>\n

Francis Schaeffer once wrote a book called, \u201cThe God Who is There.\u201d\u00a0 I haven\u2019t read it, but I once heard Dr. David Jeremiah say he wanted to rename the book \u201cThe God Who is Here, There and Everywhere.\u201d \u00a0 From what I know about the Lord it makes sense.\u00a0 God is everywhere at the same time \u2013 He is what we call omnipresent and I take great comfort in that. He is right here with me, seeing my struggles and meeting my immediate needs.\u00a0 But is that a trait of God that you call on in a time of need?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It needs to be in your faith arsenal and here\u2019s one reason why. Knowing you are not alone in the fight is the thing that gives us courage to continue the battle.\u00a0 One of my favorite passages in the Word is this one from Isaiah 43: \u201cWhen you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.\u00a0 When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>For I am the <\/span>Lord<\/span> your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.\u201d\u00a0 If there is anything I am thankful for today, it is that promise right there. It would be very easy for me to say I am alone in this world, but the truth is I\u2019m not. None of us are when God is on our side.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
