We\u2019ve taken out the Trash.<\/b><\/p>\n

The time came once again to sell one of our vehicles. With a lot of kids, and more getting their driver\u2019s licenses every day, we\u2019ve got quite the lineup at our house: four vehicles total. Three belong to my wife and me, and one is our daughter Kalvary\u2019s.<\/span><\/p>\n

Among them was our faithful old white minivan, affectionately (and somewhat accurately) nicknamed <\/span>\u201cTrash.\u201d<\/span><\/i> Now, it wasn\u2019t really <\/span>that<\/span><\/i> bad, it just had its quirks. The sliding doors would freeze shut in the winter, it had a few mystery noises, and it was getting up there in miles. My wife had finally had enough, so we bought another used vehicle and decided it was time to let \u201cTrash\u201d go.<\/span><\/p>\n

Selling a vehicle is never fun. I had to guess what it was worth, post it online, and then sift through the inevitable flood of low offers, no-shows, and \u201cIs this still available?\u201d messages. Every couple of weeks, I\u2019d lower the price a little more, wondering if it was ever going to sell. Then one morning, a guy messaged me, asked a few quick questions, and said, \u201cI\u2019ll be over in 30.\u201d Three hours later, the van was gone.<\/span><\/p>\n

Just like that. After weeks of waiting, it all happened in one morning.<\/span><\/p>\n

It reminded me how often God works like that in our lives. We pray, we wait, we get discouraged. It feels like nothing is happening, and then\u2014suddenly\u2014everything comes together in His perfect timing.<\/span><\/p>\n

Galatians 6:9<\/b> says, <\/span>\u201cLet us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

God\u2019s timing isn\u2019t random, it\u2019s purposeful. The waiting often grows our faith, teaches us patience, and prepares our hearts. And when His plan unfolds, it\u2019s always right on time.<\/span><\/p>\n

So if you\u2019re in a season of waiting, don\u2019t lose heart. Keep trusting, keep praying, keep doing good. Because one day, maybe when you least expect it, God will say, \u201cI\u2019ll be over in 30,\u201d and things will move faster than you ever imagined.<\/span><\/p>\n
