There were throat lozenges, tissues, chocolates, and a huge bag of a snack I have not had in a long time &#8211; white cheddar cheese popcorn.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I love popcorn, but white cheddar cheese popcorn is my weakness.\u00a0 I resisted the temptation to open the bag for as long as I could but on Saturday morning, I gave in. A small handful of popcorn wouldn\u2019t hurt anything, right? Before I knew it, two-thirds of the bag was gone.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A moment of mindless snacking had left me satisfied for only a short while. The next morning, the rest of the popcorn was gone and I was craving more. How often do we do that in our spiritual lives? We chase after things that we think will satisfy us, only to find ourselves starving again.
