I don\u2019t know what got into me. It was supposed to be a weekend of rest but after a nap on Friday, I caught the cleaning bug! I used the weekend to do a thorough top-to-bottom cleaning of my house. I cleaned closets and cabinets, scrubbed bathrooms, vacuumed, dusted, and washed all of the linens. I even gave the dog a bath. There was something inside of me that said I was tired of living in chaos and I needed to clean things up.<\/span><\/p>\n

Have you ever found yourself at that point spiritually? I know I have. It\u2019s that moment when you just feel <\/span>tired<\/span><\/i> of the spiritual chaos, the sin and selfishness you let pile up in the corners of your heart.\u00a0 To me, it\u2019s like a spiritual cleaning bug, a deep need to just be <\/span>clean<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s so comforting to remember that God is ready and waiting for that moment in each one of us. He doesn’t just want to tidy up; He wants to do a deep clean. The Bible promises, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). That\u2019s not just dusting; that\u2019s a total cleanse. Handing over the mess to Him and letting Him wash it away is so much better than a spotless house.<\/span><\/p>\n
