It wasn\u2019t hard to spot why, because she walked into the room wearing a sparkling tiara!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There was no particular reason for her to wear it, other than it matched her outfit. She wore it with great pride, too. She was beaming as she walked around the room, visiting with others. She just looked joyful.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Her simple delight in wearing that crown brought to mind the words of Paul in I Thessalonians 2:19: <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For what is our hope, our joy, or the crown in which we will glory in the presence of our Lord Jesus when he comes? Is it not you?<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Indeed, you are our glory and joy.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d Paul\u2019s ultimate prize in his service to the Lord wasn&#8217;t literal riches. His crown\u2014his pride and joy\u2014was the people he had poured his life into.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The greatest treasures we will present to the Lord one day, our crowns, are not our accomplishments. Rather, it will be the people we have loved and pointed to Him as we love and lived unashamedly for Him.
